"One of the best hotel deals in Iguassu Falls"
The Hotel Panorama Inn in Ciudad del Este (Paraguay) is not a five star luxury hotel, actually there is no hotel in Ciudad del Este deserving this rating but it is among the best hotel deals you can get in the Iguassu Falls area and certainly the best in this city. Here's what a real guest has told us about this hotel.
We stayed at the Hotel Panorama Inn in Ciudad del Este, in a suite, with lounge, bedroom and wc/shower on the 11th floor with views to river and bridge to Brazil. It was a short walk to the centre and there was a taxi rank outside. The ambiance of the hotel was not as favorable as the Casa Blanca but the service and the food in the restaurant absolutely excellent. Apparently the hotel owner changed about five months ago and real steps are been taken to update the hotel. Free wireless internet access is provided and the swimming pool and garden have recently been upgraded. All for $65 per night. Derek G. Bate (U.K.) 
We absolutely share Mr. Bate's review about the Hotel Panorama Inn. Good location within a short distance to shopping centers, restaurants and casinos. The hotel is a high-rise building with views of Downtown Ciudad del Este and the Parana River (we recommend to rent a suite to take advantage of this view). The hotel has free wireless internet connection, if this is important to you let the manager know so he picks a room with optimal signal for you.

...and this is the bedroom. It's not luxurious but it lacks nothing indispensable for a comfortable stay… and they are roomy and clean.
The restaurant serves an ample variety of dishes but our favorites are the Surubi fish dishes which are a specialty of the Chef and a fresh product from the nearby Parana River. Dish average price is less than USD 10.
The swimming pool is rather small but almost always uncrowded and a nice place to be.
The hotel also has ample space in the 12th floor good for organizing group meetings, conferences and parties with great views of the city and a fancy external glass windowed elevator to get there.
A taxi ride to the local or to the Brazilian side airport costs around USD 20. If you are renting a car the hotel has large and secure parking space available across the street. All in all, we think this hotel is a great value for just USD 40/65 per day.
