LIDER PALACE HOTEL

CONVAIR HOTEL
This is one of the most traditional hotels in Ciudad del Este, located in the center of the business area of the city… if you love shopping (who doesn't?) this hotel has a privileged location to take advantage of one the largest tax-free shopping cities in the world. It's within a walking distance of all the main shopping centers. Moving around? The public buses that transport you directly to Foz do Iguacu and the Iguassu Falls stop crossing the street from the hotel.
But location isn't the only advantage of the Convair. This hotel has one of the best restaurants in the area (especially good for eating pastas, it holds a "pasta festival" every Thursday).
The hotel has excellent, well educated personnel comparable to much higher priced hotels and the rooms are very spacious, clean, with air-conditioning, private bathrooms, television and wireless internet connection.
One tip, If using internet is important for you as you stay there let the manager know so he books you a room where the wireless network signal best works.

CALIFORNIA HOTEL
Continuing with our Iguassu Falls cheap hotel fares reviews, this one is not exactly for "California Dreaming" but if you are traveling on a small budget and haven't found available rooms in the Convair, it's very popular among travelers arriving to Ciudad del Este for shopping purposes because it has an excellent location in downtown Ciudad del Este. Taking into account the low price it is a good place to stay without bleeding your pocket to death! Here are some pictures to show what your money is worth in the California Hotel.

The best rooms are categorized as "luxury rooms" … of course they are not but they are clean and tidy and with the indispensable air conditioning.
The surprise for the cheap hotel fares the California charges comes with a clay tennis court with artificial lighting. If staying here during hot weather months (December through March) I recommend playing tennis during night hours because in daylight the heat is unbearable.
Finally, the hotel runs a restaurant with excellent food. Their best meals are a variety of options made with the local Surubi fish which is abundant in the nearby Parana River. Breakfast is included in the room price.
How much does it cost? Single room USD 30 per day, Double USD 40 per day, triples USD 45 per day. One tip to make it even cheaper… if you pay cash they will make you a 12% discount!
