Travel packing tips for Iguassu Falls visitors

Visiting the Iguassu Falls requires some preparation in advance so here are some helpful travel packing tips…

Just remember to bring with you the following indispensables:

Tip #1) Confortable walking Shoes. Remember, this is a walking vacation getaway. Always use closed footwear to protect your feet from ant bites. Recall you will be walking inside a real jungle.

Tip #2) Your favorite hat is a must because the sun really heats the ‘attic’ here.

Tip #3) Sun shielding skin cream and use it especially on your rear neck, shoulders and face. Hours of walking under the sun will pass without noticing it…until its bed time and sunburn disturbs your sleep.

Tip #4) Insect repellent to protect you from mosquitos. I've used this and it works just fine when walking in rainforest paths.

Tip #5) A water container and if you are coming with kids a small shoulder hanging bag to carry some snacks on your walks (my wife tells me I'm thinking with my stomach once more for suggesting you this). Take my word that walking into the mysteries of the Atlantic rainforest really gets you thirsty and hungry.

Tip #6) A large memory capacity digital camera. There will be a shooting occasion at every step and only shooting many photos you get those few pearls you will want to keep. Also bring a water- proof plastic bag to protect your camera, things will get wet in certain parts of your adventure.

Tip #7) If you have them bring your binoculars, ideal for close-ups of the fascinating falls, birds, monkeys and all the exuberant flora and fauna. Nature watching is the main attraction of this family vacation getaway.

Travel packing tips #8) Wearing short trousers or Bermudas and cotton T-shirts is the right choice for the occasion. Remember you will sweat allot here so bring plenty of spare cotton clothing.
