Vaccination & Visa Requirements for Iguassu Falls
Do you need to know about vaccination and visa requirements for Iguassu Falls?
On one of my visits there I had the pleasure of meeting a South African young couple visiting the Argentinean side of the falls. As we waited for the little train heading for Devil’s Throat I asked them “Have you visited the Brazilian side already?”, “We have just learned we need a Yellow Fever vaccine to enter Brazil and don’t want to take that shot” they answered me.
Maybe this couple would have taken the shot in their home land if they had known in advance the vaccine and visa requirements for Iguassu Falls. The fact is, once there they were surprised and upset about this Brazilian requirement and worst of all, they left Iguassu Falls without visiting the beautiful Brazilian side.
There can be three countries involved on your visit to Iguassu Falls, Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay.
